Thank You Molly

>> Saturday, October 25, 2008

It's our first year anniversary. Today, one year ago, we both said "I do"...(well that's what we would have said if we weren't Bruneians. :)

I'm so thankful to have you and to be a part of your life. Sometimes I don't feel I deserve to have someone as patient, kind, generous and beautiful as you.

I don't think you will
ever fully understand
how you've touched my life
and made me who I am.

I don't think you could ever know
just how truly special you are
that even on the darkest nights
you are my brightest star.

I don't think you will ever fully comprehend
how you've made my dreams come true
or how you've opened my heart
to love and the wonders it can do.

You've allowed me to experience
something very hard to find
unconditional love that exists
in my body, soul, and mind.

I don't think you could ever feel
all the love I have to give
and I'm sure you'll never realize
you've been my will to live.

You are an amazing person
and without you I don't know where I'd be.
Having you in my life
completes and fulfills every part of me

Love you Hun. You will always be my 'Cinderella'

(because you love shoes...hehe)

Buffy the Singing Vampire Slayer

>> Friday, September 19, 2008

I've been watching reruns of Buffy The Vampire Slayer on Foxtel. I'm not sure about you guys but I was a big fan back then...and it turns out I still am! The storyline was just so appealing and not just because they had a cute slayer and the fact that her Scooby gang had a powerful redheaded lesbian witch*gasp*. Joss Whedon is a mastermind when it came to telling the tale of the slayer who not only had to deal with demons, vampires and the sorts. He also told the story about the girl in the slayer, how she had to deal with coming into adulthood and thats not easy. Btw, to those who started giggling/laughing at me from the moment I mentioned "Buffy" you can stop now. I live in my reality and you live in yours :) LOL

To me the episode which I'll always remember is the one where a Demon was responsible for all the folks in Sunnydale to start singing and dancing. The episode was called: "Once more with feeling"

This was the best song in the episode..."Walk Through the Fire"

Bernie Mac

>> Monday, August 25, 2008

OMG!!! I just found out last night. I've been so busy with my family and updating my other blog that I missed the news about Bernie Mac's death. For those of you who don't know who is Bernie Mac(which I find hard to believe), he's one of the funniest comedian to ever appear on Def Jam comedy. He died on 9th August '08 of pneumonia at the age of 50.

Some of you might remember his role as Frank Catton in the Ocean's trilogy. I admit when he does his comic routine, his jokes isn't for everyone. That's Bernie Mac. He says it as he sees it. He says the things that you think about but are too scared to say it out loud.

My favourite skit is when he toured with his pals, the Kings of Comedy. Below is a video from The Original Kings of Comedy.
