Happy 25th National Day!!!

On the eve of our National Day we held Maghrib Prayer at the Embassy led by Pg. Ismail. As Bruneians who are currently living abroad nothing beats the comfort of our homeland. We are all thankful for the peace and prosperity that we have enjoyed for these blessed 25 years and we hope it will last for many more years to come.

ASEAN Bowling Tourney

Last Saturday the Brunei Embassy participated in the ASEAN Bowling tournament organized by the Cambodia & Singapore Embassy. We played in mixed teams. Myself, the missus, Karim played with 2 very good Singaporean players.

In the end none of us won anything. LoL. It was good fun though and it was our first time playing bowling here in Canberra. Apparently here, they'll let you play with your sport shoes if they think its good enough.

What better action figure for our daughter to look up to than your friendly neighborhood Spidey? Well, I could've gotten her a Wonder Woman figure...but I think it's a bit too early for that(because I want one first). LOL.

Batemans Bay

Last Saturday we went out for a lil' trip to Batemans Bay. It was a very long 2 hour trip but worth it.A nice, not so quiet little town by the sea. We tried our luck by going to the beaches which were a few mins away from the town centre. They were beautiful but a bit difficult when it comes to bringing the kids because you'd need to walk from the main road.
